5 Interior design Trends 2019 you don't want to miss!
What I really like about running my interior design blog is that it allows me to share with my readers and followers my ideas and vision and see how it spreading like jam on a scone with butter. And this idea inspires me and give so much joy to share with you. Believe me Guys you gonna LOVE these new trends for sure, enjoy!
Trend 1: Pastels
Colors for 2019 as I see it are fresh pastels, muted tones over pretty pinks & baby blues and a little bit of bronze. Modern shapes are saturated in barely-there blushes, soft sage and lemon yellows, with matt finishes giving a retro edge to an otherwise contemporary look. Brass and gold accessories cut through the milky tones of the New Pastels, giving warmth and an altogether more mature edge to the trend. The perfect way to waken your interior from winter is to add some pastel accessories to it.
Trend 2: Spicier Shades
2019 is the right time to warm things up. All warm colors are coming in instead of cool and grey. Oatmeal and linen tones are taking over grey as a new favourite neutral, and everything seems to go back to basics with natural materials in a bid to live more consciously. Furniture made from earthy jute, wood and hemp create a pared-back, rustic feel whilst flashes of tobacco & tan stop the overall scheme from looking too washed out. Simplistic styling, no heavy patterns.
Trend 3: Handmade pieces
Items made by hand using sustainable materials like jute, rice paper, and clay are for in 2019. It seems like people need these grounding elements in their homes as a way to feel more in touch with the earth and their roots. Textured placements, napkins, stainless steel that has an almost hammered look, handmade dishes these all are very popular right now.
Trend 4: Light wood floors
Light-colored floors are making a comeback, thanks to the homeowner's growing desire for a more airy and open look and feel. In shades of birch, beachy white and light oak, these floors reflect more light, and can transition from casual to luxurious, without sacrificing comfort.
Trend 5: China is becoming popular again
China object design is becoming more popular with more young designers coming more into these design world. And chinoiserie is one of those things that in certain circles is popular and it’s probably not a trend but a question of taste. While hand painted wallpapers and walls are definitely on trend. You can always find something interesting with such companies as Gracie, Fromental and de Gournay and in small doses, the whimsical motifs can be transformative to a space, thus I think it always a good idea to add a vintage Chinoiserie-style porcelain lamp or white-and -blue vases, but going the whole room for it is a question of taste.
I’d love to hear from you Guys what you think about it. Hope you have found some new fresh ideas for your interior experiments.
